"Listener" is cancelled

Well, I hoped.

NBC has prematurely ended its new series The Listener. All episodes - both aired and would-be aired - are online.

Waiting for Smallville and Heroes to come back, in later September.

I am happy that Listener gave us something unlikely to be found on any first season of a hit show: an episode highlighting the challenges of transgender homeless youth: Episode "Lisa Says"

Short series, weak ratings, but making that episode granted this show historic status.
