Of the three LGBT equality votes, one has been called. We won that!

Remember 3-2-1? Three ballot fights

* To keep marriage equality in Maine (Vote "No" to keep equality)

* To approve domestic partnerships in Washington State (Vote "Yes" to approve the partnerships)

* To approve Kalamazoo's gay and transgender rights ordinance

Of these three, the third has been called. We won Kalamazoo!

Kalamazoo was a town in Michigan. While state victories get our attention (for many good reasons), change often starts locally. Many of the transgender-inclusive LGBT rights laws started as local ordinances. And this town was no easy win. Citizens fought hard to win in that town, and their work paid off.
