National Organization for Women explains its stance on Sarah Palin

The National Org for Women (NOW) explains why a strong woman is not the same thing as a strong woman who strongly believes in women's freedom and equality.

Don't take my word for it.

I would add that people usually don't disbelieve in woman's freedom, but they may define it differently, and to such an extent that to them freedom means slavery, and vice versa.

This is why we have anti-abortionists, women included, who believe that it's in a pregnant woman's best interest to be forced by government to carry the pregnancy against her will.
