Our tax dollars at work
Each state receives grant money, called CBAE money, from the federal budget spent on these programs:
South Carolina: $600,000/year
California (believe it or not): $3.2 million/year
Kansas: $3.1 million
Missouri: $3 million
Indiana: $600,000
Now each of the above figures was for one particular program of that state. They are not necessarilly (and probably not) the full figure of what the state receives.
THIS is pork...to please the religious right. I hope economic conservatives are reassessing their allegiances...

Missouri's program, LifeGuard Youth Development teaches students what to call their female peers who may (or may not) have had sex:
"Being able to have sex does not make you any different from a rat in a warehouse. They have sex too. Is that what you want to compare yourself to?"
What can you do?
WRITE OBAMA AND TELL HIM TO ZERO OUT ABSTINENCE-ONLY FUNDING!
And tell your Congressperson too!
