Washington State adds transgender protections to existing hate crime law

While the federal bill is gearing for summer, the states are doing their thing

And FYI: The title says "transgenders" when it should say "transgender people". The word transgender is an adjective, not a noun (though a few LGBT groups in other countries use it that way)
